Reflexive and Reciprocal Pronouns

Reflexive pronouns are used when the object of the sentence is the same as the subject of the sentence.

In the sentence "I cut myself", I and myself refer to the same person.

Reflexive pronouns are used when the subject and the object refer to the same person:

We can use reflexive pronouns as the object of a preposition:

We use the reciprocal pronouns each other and one another when two or more people do the same thing (person A does something to person B and person B does the same to person A). Each other refers to two people and one another refers to more than two people, but this distinction is disappearing in modern English.

Also these pronouns have possessive forms each other’s and one another’s:

We do not use each other and one another as the subject of a clause.
